I think the extremely high water from all of the nor eatsers and the almost 30 inches of rain from FAY are about back to normal, ALMOST. It has been nice to finally see some oysters on the lower end of the tide. It makes it easier for my guys to cast to them when they can see them.

A 1/4 ounce jig head and a shrimp are hard to beat on the lower end of the tides. There are a lot of fish the cruise the edges of the mounds looking for a meal and it could be your shrimp.

Try White Shell Fish camp on Heckscher Dr for some nice bait shrimp, mud minnows and fresh dead shrimp.

Lots of croakers in the river with some real nice yellow mouth mixed in. I have also had some real nice yellow mouth on a jig and shrimp in the creeks. Some of the are pushing 4 pounds.

Some nice big stud red fish n the river and jetties. Try crab, mullet, poggies, croakers or shrimp to entice them to eat. REMEMBER that almost all of these stud reds are too big to keep and ARE THE BREEDERS, so spend some time reviving them so they swim off and NOT FLOAT AWAY.

Remember Moms and Dads, take your kids fishing. It will make a positive difference in their lives.
