All it took was a little cool weather and the reds and trout have started to start to feed a little better.
Over the past week I have managed to catch over 100 reds and about 40 trout with about 100 lady fish and a few spanish mixed in.
Some of the larger reds are at the jetties and in the deep drops in the river.
There are plenty of smaller reds in almost all of the creeks around oyster mounds.
The mangrove snapper are also starting to get fired up and another few weeks they should be legal keeping size.
