This is a picture of a 50 pound plus redfish that I caught at the Mayport jetties two days ago.
 
The fish was caught on a dead poggy using a Shakespeare Tidewater reel, a Shakespeare Custom Ugly Stik, 50 pound test Power Pro line, a 3 foot leader of 50 pound test Cajun Lighting line and a Daiichi 5/0 circle wide hook.
 
The fish battled for 15 long minutes before deciding to come aboard and have his/her picture taken and released, unharmed.
 
The look of pain that is evident on my face was because it was all that I could do to lift this fish, after the tiring battle.
 
Today, I caught a fish that was larger than this one.  It was caught in THREE feet of water.
